AGRICULTURE

We offer a broad product portfolio to meet the many needs of the agricultural chemical formulator. Our products include both nonionic and anionic surfactants for use as wetting agents in Suspension Concentrates (SC), Water Dispersible Granules (WG), and Wettable Powders (WP). They are also used as emulsifiers in Emulsifiable Concentrates (EC), Concentrated Emulsions (CE), Microemulsions (ME) and Microemulsion Concentrates (MEC). To complement the wetting agents and emulsifiers we also offer a range of nonionic and anionic polymers than are effective as dispersants and emulsion stabilizers for SC, WP, WG and CE formulations. A supporting segment of our product line is based on polymeric rheology modifiers that can be used to stabilize SC and CE formulations.

In addition to formulation components we offer a wide range of options for adjuvant formulations. Those products include wetting agents, compatibility agents, humectants, penetrants, stickers and solvents such as methyl esters and de-aromatized oils.

Our Ag staff has experience in the standard Ag formulations, from the bench through manufacturing, as well as adjuvants and a good understanding of surfactant and polymer science as it applies to agricultural applications. We are currently set up to assist in the development of liquid formulations either by performing experiments in our own lab or by offering suggestions through consulting with customers. By using designed experiments we can considerably reduce the amount of time required to develop a formulation. We can help troubleshoot SC , WP and WDG formulations, from bench to manufacturing to field applications.
