Oil Pro OFS-100 is a multi-functional, 100% active, non-ionic surfactant. Solvent-free / safe to use. Compatible with anionic, cationic, nonionic, and amphoteric materials. Highly-branched, “gemini”-type surfactant structure. At higher concentrations, can be used as an emulsifier/solvent-solubilizer. Upon dilution into ppm ranges, becomes a very effective emulsion preventer/breaker. Adsorbs onto rock and metal surfaces to impart mild “differential” wetting (lessens chromatic “drag” of flowing water and oil mixtures). May help inhibit the hydration of water-sensitive shales likely, but no supporting data is currently available.
