OilPro ADI-1 is a general purpose inhibitor and dispersant for asphaltenes. The product is a combination of aromatic solvents plus an anionic dispersant. The anionic dispersant will inhibit the asphaltenes by absorbing onto the asphaltene particle as it precipitates, preventing an increase in particle size and creating a dispersion of asphaltenes. A typical use rate for OilPro ADI-1 needed to remove asphaltenes is 10 to 20 gallons of product down the annulus or flowline at one to four week intervals. A static soak time of two to eight hours is needed for maximum effectiveness. The  actual use rate and soak time will need to be determined by the customer.
